Flight C added another 219 entries to an already large field at Golden Gates Casino here in Black Hawk, Colorado.
That brings the 3-day total to 455 total entries. Tomorrow's Flight D is expected to be the biggest yet. Over 700 total entries is a real possibility.
A slew of familiar faces came out for today's flight from wizards and past champions to locals and tour regulars.
Kevin Nettles bagged the top stack at 421,000.
Craig Casino and Andreas Ramadinas were the only past champions to find a bag while numerous others played but did not make it through: Nader Wahdan, Michael Harris, Shane Faulk, Richard Monroe, Joe Christman and Mike Englert among them.
Scott Davies, Kevin Eyster, and Josh Reichard all advanced. That trio has a combined earnings total of $7.2 million.
Allen Kessler, Ben Keeline, Neil Patel and Kevin Boudreau were all sent to the rail before the end of the day.
One year ago this event finished with 606 entries. It's nearly a lock that this year's field will eclipse that mark by a large margin. There is one final $260 Qualifier on the schedule for tomorrow morning at 9am.
