1A Final

Day 1A of the @HPTPoker $1650 Main Event @Gates_Poker drew a 47-entry field, with 7 players advancing to Sunday's 11am-start Day 2.

Danny Gonzales (pictured) took a massive pot from Wendy Freedman midway through the day to grab the chiplead, and he held the lead until the final elimination of the day with 19:13 left in Level 15.

Jake Bazeley, Kevin Boudreau, Brian Devonshire, Greg Geller, Ryan Van Sanford, Gary Germann, Marty Gorenc, Freedman, Sterling Savill and more came out for the first of four starting flights but did not find a Day2Bag. They have three more flights - noon starts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday - for everyone to buy-in and aim for a Day2Bag.
