All-HPT-Champions 3-Handed Play

Down to three players in the @HPTpoker $1650 Main Event final table @Gates_poker in Black Hawk, CO., and there's something we don't see very often. All three players have previously one at least one HPT Main Event.

Chipleader Josh Sacha celebrates the 10th anniversary of his HPT Black Hawk win this coming July.

Nick Pupillo won the May 2015 HPT East Chicago Main Event.

Shawn Roberts has won three HPT main events - 2010 Quapaw; 2013 Wyandotte and 2015 Wyandotte.

Level Up and Chipcount Updates

John Sacha put a lot of pressure on his three challengers once 4-handed play began, adding about 60 percent to his stack and extending his chiplead.

Sacha, a few months shy of the 10th anniversary of his HPT Black Hawk victory, has slightly less than half of all the chips in play as the levels move to 80/160 now.

Here's the pretty-close-to-official chipcounts.

Karim Abuzar - 5th Place - $39,761

Karim Abuzar and new chipleader John Sacha mix things up, the only two players going to the flop. Sacha opened for 240,000 and Abuzar completed for 25 percent of his stack.

5h 6h Td goes the board. Abuzar moves all in for his last 690,000 and Sacha asks for a count before making the call.

Abuzar - Ah 5c for middle pair, top kicker
Sacha - 3d 4d for an open-ended straight draw.

The turn 2c connects, giving Sacha the straight. "I had to call, he was so short," Sacha says to his rail as the 8c lands on the rail.

Abuzar cashes for $39,761, eliminated in 5th place, Sacha moves to 5.2 million and the field takes a short, unscheduled break.
