MORE DOUBLES FOR HOANG

Bob Reiter moved the chips back in to his stack and started extending his lead once again, working Tan Hoang down to 2.5 million in their heads-up match.

Off to the flop they go, and Reiter moves in on the 2c Kd 2h board, Hoang barely pauses and calls off his stack.

  • Hoang has two pair with his Td Tc
  • Reiter is behind this time (a rare instance in this match) with Qd 6c

Reiter now has two pair with the 6h turn but Hoang gets yet another double when the river comes out 3h

5.7 million for Hoang, 8.4 million for Reiter.

MATCH EVENS ON A NO-CALL

Bob Reiter finds himself behind in the chipcounts for the first time in his heads-up match against Tan Hoang. He moves all in preflop for 6,275,000 and Hoang asks, "Why so much?"

"I thought I had less," says Reiter as Hoang continues to debate whether this could be the hand to give him the title, or push him back down to 1.5 million yet again.

He shows Ace_Seven and folds, Reiter claiming he had Ace_Eight.

And with that, the stacks are almost exactly even - 3 hours and 15 minutes in to the heads-up match.

THAT. JUST. HAPPENED

Bob Reiter keeps the pressure on, once again putting Tan Hoang all-in preflop, and after a slight pause, Hoang makes the call in their heads-up HPT Black Hawk match.
  • Reiter once again is out in front with Ah Kc
  • Hoang once again needing help with his Ac 3h
Hoang looks to Reiter and calls for his one time before the cards come out.

The flop is Qd 5s 4c and Hoang's rail is calling for a wheel. The turn 5c pairs the board and now there's calls for a 4 or Queen for another ChopPot

River .... yep ... Qd

Move along, nothing to see here, folks, everyone loves a chop pot, remember to tip your dealer, enjoy Timbuk 3.
