Here's one to take some time as you follow along with the action.
Blinds are 100/200, preflop action fold to the button who tosses out a single 1000 chip. The SB tosses out a 500 chip to go along with the 100 chip already there from posting the SB.
The BB adds four 100 chips to the two 100 chips already out from posting the blinds, a bet of 600. The button announces call and now some confusion takes place and floor is called before the SB acts.
Action is now on the SB who faces a call. Got all that so far? Why action on the SB and why a call, and what was the call from the button all about if he already bet 1000?
The single-chip from the button was just a call of 200. When the SB tossed out a single chip to his 100, that also signified a call. The BB, thinking he fas facing a raise, added 400 to the pot, making the first true OFFICIAL raise. When the button announced call, it was a call of the 600 bet.
Now the SB has a decision, call the 600, fold and get 400 back, or raise. Once all understand what's taking place the SB tosses out two 1000 chips.
What is the SB's total bet? 2600?
Nope, his chips on the felt were a 200 total (call of the button's original bet) so adding 2000 makes the bet 2200 total.
So, what ended up happening?
On the river, the sb bet 2500 when the Ac hit, Colbert White in the BB repopped him to 6500 and the SB insta-mucked.
