The Ameristar Kansas City $1650 Main Event kicks off Thursday at 2pm with Day 1A. Players start with 30,000 chips and play 40-minute levels. Play is set to last for 15 levels on Day 1 - or when the field is down to 15 percent of that day's starting field - whatever comes first.
Late registration is open until the 6-minute dinner break ends at about 9:30pm. Play for Day 1A should wrap up with the bag-n-tag taking place at about 1:45am if it plays out through all 15 levels.
Day 1B goes at 2pm Friday; Day 1C starts a hour earlier, at 1pm on Saturday.
Everyone who bags Day 1 chips comes back Sunday at 1pm for Day 2, playing it down to the TV Final Table of 9.
Monday's Final Table filming is schedules to start at noon.
