First Tourney, First Cash

Mark Christensen likes to play slots, blackjack and has been thinking about giving poker a try for a while now.

"I play a lot of blackjack, but I started watching poker on TV, watching the HPT on cable," said Christensen,"And I decided to give this a try. It looked like it would be a lot of fun and it really was."

Helping to add to Christensen's fun is the fact he cashed in his very first tournament he ever played in, finishing 46th place for $2,173
