Jay Friedman is your Newest HPT champion here at @ameristarVI winning $43,584 and a Championship package to the HPT championship event at Thunder Valley featuring a $2500 main event.
Freidman got to around 100,000 early in day 1 and then had to grind the rest of the day and pretty much all of day 2.
When the final table began Friedman came in 6th in chips and grinded his way through the field winning a few key spots when need be.
Once Friedman eliminated Thom Creel in 3rd place and proceeded to win the first big pot heads up against Ryan Gregor, Friedman never looked back.
This was a stacked final table Featuring Kansas City Winner Ryan Gregor who finished 2 here, Craig Casino 5th and Danny Doucet.
