Chase Bianchi opens for 15,000 and the player in the hijack shoves for 133,000. Drazen Ilich (above) calls from the BB, then Bianchi overshoves for almost 400,000, Ilich and snap-calls, having Bianchi well-covered.
This is the first million-chip-pot of the tournament, folks.
Shortstack -

Ilich -

Bianchi -

All this was told to me by Michael Esquivel, Aaron Thomas and one other, folks, who were all gathered at the table. I showed up as the chips were being pushed to the winner, but here's how the crew says it went down.
Bianchi flopped a flush draw
The turn was a blank
The river 6 was NOT a spade
The short stack is eliminated
Bianchi is eliminated
Ilich is to 1,210,000 - 600,000 CLEAR of second place.
This took so long to write up - and count down the stack - that we opted to post is as the first hand back from break, even though it was the final hand BEFORE break ...
Level - 18
Blinds - 3000/6000
Antes - 1000
Players Left - 61
