OK, I admit I jumped the gun a bit last night as I started making up the list of players who were going to bag chips from Day 1C into Day 2 - but it sure seemed like a lock that Matt Bond (above) was going to be in that group.
The night came to an end, I went through each player chipcount receipt - went through them again, and a third time, and Bond's name was not there.
What happened?
"I lost a 250,000 pot with Jacks against Tens just a few minutes before bag," said Bond today from his seat at Table 16 where he's making his last stand to bag a Day 2 stack and a run at another HPT Blackhawk final table.
