Defending @HPTPoker @Gates_Poker champ Aaron Thomas was out within 10 hands to start the day, but made his second entry definitely count. Thomas and John Beauprez sat side-by-side for the final six levels, with Thomas bagging 211,000 and Beauprez bagging the night's top stack of 293,000.
Current HPT Player of the Year Ryan Gregor chipped up a lot early on, then slid down to as few as 23,000 going in to Level 12. The downswing didn't last long, and soon Gregor was rebuilding, bagging 122,500 by the end of the night.
Among those who did not make it to the bag-n-tag and were eliminated from the main event today were Craig Casino, David Gutfreund, Matt Bond, Cary Marshall, Marty Gorenc, Duke Lee, Phil Mader, Travis Northrope, Terry Harper and Greg Geller
From a total field of 190 entries, here are the 41 players who made it from today's 1D into Sunday's Day 2 of the Main Event. This makes 103 total coming back for Sunday, we'll have the table draw posted much later tonight ....
