Turner Runs 1C

@HPTPoker @Gates_Poker Day 1C belonged to Josh Turner - chipleader from first break to almost the final hand of the night.

Turner was up to 95,000 after just three levels and never looked back, chipping up constantly and bagging 274,000 at the end of Level 15.

Cord Garcia closed out the night on Turner's left, but spent most of the evening with Kevin Boudreau on his right at one of the middle tables. Garcia ended up bagging 247,500 and Boudreau went on a last-2-level-heater to close at 212,000.

Nils Bardsley - who has final-tabled two of the last three HPT's here in Blackhawk - went on the biggest heater of the night, closing out with 353,000 and the overall chiplead for the first three flights.

Among those who came out for Day 1C but did not bag-n-tag were defending champ Aaron Thomas, Danny Gonzales, Craig Casino, Matt Bond, Phil Mader, Wendy Freedman, Cary Marshall, Greg Geller, JR Richards and Duke Lee.

The final starting flight goes at noon tomorrow, late registration until the end of dinner break at about 7:30pm.
