Most poker tournaments 4-6% of the field are women. Here on day 1A table 49 has 3 women seated and all in the first 4 seats of the table.

There is no doubt we have to improve the number of women playing poker, and it is just an unlucky coincidence that 3 of the 4 woman in todays field are seated together. Yes, it is a random table draw. Cathy Schenone (Seat 3) is among the early chip leaders.
