Loren Klein - 1st Place - $47,099

2106 @HPTPoker @PeppermillPoker champ Loren Klein outplayed most of his opponents throughout Sunday's Day 2, setting himself up with more than a milly in chips to start the final table 2nd overall in chips to Marty Gorenc.

Final Table play showed Klein taking the overall chiplead after slightly more than one level of play, and he never relinquished it - but to 3rd place Jae Pak for a few hands.

Klein wins $47,099 and an entry into the Season XII HPT Championships at Thunder Valley Oct. 21-25.

Klein adds his first HPT title to a very successful summer in Las Vegas where in the span of one week he not only finished second in the $10,000 PLO at the World Series of Poker, but three days earlier he won the Event 45 Mixed Hold'em/Omaha bracelet, cashing for just shy of $800,000 in one week.
