Top Stack @AriBodog after Day 1A

Always near the @HPTPoker @AmeristarSC top of the leaderboard, it was Ari Engel with the top stack once all the chips were bagged after 15 Day 1A levels.

Engel, with 266,000, leads five players with 200k or more, and a total of 33 players who made the bag-n-tag so they can come back at 2pm Sunday to play down to the TV Table of 9.

Turner found himself on a late-night rollercoaster of the poker sorts. Up to 160,000 at one point, he slipped to below 50,000 with a level to go. All in for his last 47,000 with 20 minutes to go in teh night, he picked up a double through Craig Casino, then doubled again on one of the final hands of the night to finish out with 203,500.

Among players who entered Day 1A but did not bag was James Mackey, Grant Hinkle, Ryan Tepen, Jake Bazeley, Mike Rieck, Shawn Roberts, Robert Castiore Robert Geith and defending HPT St Charles Champ Greg Radosh.
