Day 1B Recap

The early levels of Day 1B here in the Belterra $1100 Main Event were fairly pedestrian, with few bustouts, double-ups or big stacks. The only table seeing much action at all was the one with Craig Casino and Ryan Gregor. No, not because of their presence, but because four times in three levels a player hit quads.

Jalen Coyle (above) was the beneficiary of quads twice during that time. He parlayed that momentum into later-day #RunGood and was the first player to push past the 200,000-chip mark. Coyle finished Day 1B 10/24 with 151,000.

Greg Raymer never found much traction during the flight, nursing a 20BB stack for most of the final 6 levels of the night, wrapping up Day 1B with 54,000 chips - or 18BB.

Trevor Warren bagged the flight's top stack of 337,000.

Neither Casino nor Gregor made Day so they are joining Roger Campbell and others Saturday at 2pm in the final starting flight.

Here are the chipcounts for the 24 players who made it through 113 total entries to bag a Day 2 stack.
