Ryan Van Sanford Breaks 400,000 and at Least One Heart

Ryan Van Sanford is now the far-and-away chip leader, shooting to over 400,000 after he spiked an ace to eliminate a player who held pocket kings.

Van Sanford had a health stack for most of the day, but took the lead when he was in a three-way pot preflop. Each player was already in for 6,500 before the player with pocket kings shoved all in and Van Sanford shoved all in for more. Bruce Russell was the third player with money in the pot, and he said that he folded pocket nines once the hand was complete.

"That's so sick," said the newly eliminated player.

All Van Sanford could do was shrug and stack the chips.
