Brian Berend Eliminated in 5th Place, Matt Culp in the Lead

John Sun raised in the cutoff, Rob Wazwaz called on the button, and Matt Culp called in the small blind. Brian Berend went all in for 1,600,000 in the big blind, Sun and Carroll folded, and Culp called, putting Berend at risk.

Culp's eights were in the lead, and the  flop gave Berend two pair but a set for Culp.

The  turn and the  river couldn't save Berend and he is our 5th place finisher. He takes home a consolation prize of $36,561.
