Daniel Loizzo Bags Chip Lead in Flight B

The second of three starting flights for the HPT East Chicago drew 178 players and 35 of them advanced to Day 2.

Daniel Loizzo, who came into the chip lead after the last break of the day, finished the night at the top of the counts with 412,500 chips. Loizzo final-tabled the HPT here in East Chicago back in January, and would undoubtedly be happy to do it again this time around.

Andualem Mequnint, who was seated to Loizzo's left in the final levels of the night, chipped up significantly in the last two levels of play and finished second in chips with 406,000. Those are the only two players to have surpassed the 400,000 chip-mark. Tom Koral finished the night third with 345,500 and Aaron Johnson bagged the fourth biggest stack wtih 343,500. The next largest stacks are below 300,000.
