Popular Chicago news anchor Ron Magers was just eliminated in a pretty crazy hand.
According to players at the table, a player with pocket aces raised preflop, Anwar Baig called with , and Ron Magers called from the blinds with pocket kings.
The flop was K-Q-9. Magers checked, the next player went all in, Baig called, and Magers moved all in. Baig snap-called with the nuts, and Magers needed the board to pair with his set.
The turn and the river changed nothing and Baig eliminated Magers and the other player with his straight. He also took a commanding chip lead.
