1B Belonged to Englert, Carter

@MoneyFlickaMike Englert owned @HPTPoker @Gates_Poker Day 1B, with Bruce Carter gathering what Englert didn't claim.

These two players ran over challengers in much of the early goings, amassing stacks big enough so others could not risk playing back. By the end of the night, it was Englert with 369,000 and Carter with 300k.

Ed Konarsle and Melvin Mandell came on strong late, also reaching the 300K Club by the end of the night.

Among those who came and missed a Day 2 bag was Ryan Dodson, the father-son duo of Kevin and Cannon Conolty, Gary Germann, Greg Geller, Jeff Grimes, Ross Guthrie and Caleb Meyer.

Here are the 23 players - from a starting field of 125 - who are advancing to Sunday's Day 2.
