One More is Second Best
There's already 17,000 or so in the pot when I get over to check out the action with Jeff Grimes, Rory Hayes and Craig Dubberstein.
The flop is , Hayes (above) has checked, Dubberstein made it 4,500, 'One More' Grimes 3-bet to 11,000 and Hayes called the 11,000. Dubberstein mini-tanked for about 90 seconds and made the call.
Hayes and Dubberstein check the turn. Grimes announces, "30,000," and before he can grab any of his chips, Hayes announces, "I'm all in," counting out the 30,000 that Grimes said, and stacking out his additional 8,300 also.
Dubberstein puts his hands to his head, leans back in his chair and looks as though somebody punched him in the stomach. He goes maxi-tank this time, more than three minutes go off the clock.
As I turn around to see how much more time has run off the clock, Dubberstein folds, Grimes shows KQ and zz shows for the nut flush.
Grimes it looking to pair the King or Queen, but the river is an Ace and Hayes gets all those chippies. Dubberstein says after the hand he also folded two pair.
Rory Hayes - 123,000
Jeff Grimes - 24,000
Craig Dubberstein - 82,000
Players are just back from their final break of the night. As play resumes, action moves to
Level - 13
Blinds - 1k/2k
Antes - 300
Remaining - 43
