If You're Going to Get Beat ...

You hear it in the hallways outside the tournament area all the time: the bad beat story.  But in a rare exception, there's always the saying, "if you're going to get beat, at least you can say you got beat by quads/ a straight flush/ a royal."

Such is the case for Nestor Punay.

In a 5-way pot, Punay had raised to 700.  Among the callers was Mark Fournier, immediately to Punay's left.  After the flop came, Punay got all his chips in and was called by Fournier.  The two watched as the hand unfolded.

Board: Kc Kc Kc Kc Kc

Punay: Kc Kc

Fournier: Kc Kc

Punay is out (and has since bought back in) and Fournier is sitting with about 27,000 in chips.
