Local legend Jamal Sawaqdeh, from Aurora, CO, is playing today's flight.
Just last month, he played here at Golden Gates Casino and took down 7th place for their Colorado Poker Championship Main Event, bringing home $10,000. In December 2014, he took 3rd in the CPC for just under $38,000 in prize money.
He has four prior HPT Main Event cashes here in Black Hawk, with his best finish being 13th place in October 2009.
