I was heading over to write up about Darrell Haywood and his 280,000 stack - the biggest stack in the room. By the time I grabbed my camera and made it to table 8 ... all of 15 feet for me to travel ... Haywood had knocked out two more players and was up to 430,000 chips.
Nicknamed 'The Punisher," (it says so on his hat), Haywood says he's just trying to get as many chips as he can to take to Sunday's Day 2.
Well, he already has 100k more in chips than anyone who bagged last night, and twice as many as any of the 51 others still in today's Day 1B flight.
