All Those Chips to Maurice
Players in Day 1A @HPTPoker @DBKCandPR are off for their final 15-minute break of the night .. except for two ... and there's a crowd gathering over at Table 43 to see what's taking place between Michael Hahn and Maurice Hawkins.
The board is already complete -
Hawkins makes it 31,000 to go on the river.
Hahn pauses, pauses, pauses, tanks for some three minutes before announcing all-in, and pretty soon after that he calls clock on Hawkins.
The TD comes over, Hawkins lets him know the clock-call was pretty fast and he's given more time to contemplate what to do in this nearly 200,000-chip pot.
Hawkins takes about 2 minutes, finds a call, pushes his chips out in a pile and flips atop them - flopped TopSet ...
Hahn stares, palms his cards and doesn't move for about 20 seconds, prompting Hawkins to call out, "slowroll coming."
Nope, but Hahn does ask for a count to see whether he is covered (he is) and Hahn manages to muck his cards rather than show.
Hawkins moves back to the chiplead at 213,000 and still has about 4 minutes left on his break.
Players are now back - it took a while to write this up - so action is now at
Level - 13
Blinds - 1k/2k
Antes - 300
Remaining - 20/51
