There's a big race for the @HPTPoker Season XIII Player of the Year, the entire Top-10 within 70 points of one another.
Four of those players - Gary Herstein (2nd), Michael Hahn (4th), Cord Garcia (5th) and Nick Jivkov (7th) - played in yesterday's Day 1B here at Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club, but did not bag a Day 2 stack.
They are all expected to play today, but what was not expected was Ed Sebesta - The Man Atop the Leaderboard - to make this, as he had a prior commitment.
"Well, I found a direct flight for Saturday, so here I am," he said as he took his seat for the stat of today's final flight.
Sebesta holds a narrow 3.6 point lead over Herstein.
