Lots of Table Talk
Richard Bennett moved all in for his last 9,900 on the river, and then started a long stream of chatter with Maurice Hawkins. The board is and there's about 25k in the pot before Bennett moved all-in.
"There's no shame in folding ... oh, that's not a good sign ... I'll show...," were among the comments Bennett (above) made, all the while flashing a big grin at Hawkins, who was trying to decide whether to call off 10k of his 85k stack.
"Seems like you're giving all the tells that you're bluffing, but you're really not (bluffing)," said Hawkins.
"I'm not bluffing but you could have a better hand," replied Bennett.
"You have a 7," Bennett asks and Hawkins replies in the affirmative.
"Seven_King?" asks Bennett.
"Yeah," replies Hawkins.
"Well, I don't have the Seven_Jack," adds Bennett.
Hawkins finds a fold and Bennett shows for a flopped open-ended straight that not only got there, but got there as a flush.
