Matt Donaldson traveled last year from Kansas City to St. Charles and won the HPT Main Event there. He traveled far less of a distance today, looking for his second HPT title in his home state.

2016 HPT Kansas City champ Ryan Gregor - the reigning HPT Player of the Year - is also in today's field, making four Missouri champs aiming to keep more HPT titles in the state. Aaaaaaand, add in 2015 HPT KC Champ Greg Jennings who advanced in Thursday's Day 1A flight.
