We just talked about @RyanGregorKC being the reigning HPT Player of the Year and sitting over at Table 30.
Meanwhile, over at table 29 is Ed Sebesta, sitting atop the Season XIII Player of the Year Leaderboard.
Sebesta has been leading the Player of the Year race most of this season. He lost the lead when Gary Herstein won at East Chicago in early September.
That didn't last long, as Sebesta finished 13th two weeks ago in St. Charles, regaining the lead. Tom Morse, the defending St. Charles champ, finished 3rd two weeks ago to move in to 3rd place in the POY race, with just 18 points separating those three.
Cord Garcia, 4th in the race, just showed up. He's off to check in to the hotel and plans to enter in a few levels.
