The number of eliminations in the first three levels after dinner was abnormally low here in Day 1A of the Main Event. Typically, 15-20 percent of the entire field is gone in the first 40-minutes after dinner of the opening flight.
Tonight, not so much. 40 returned from dinner, down to 29 now after a few quick bustouts, but the field only made it down to 37 in the first 40 minutes and stayed at 36 almost all of Level 11.
The remaining 29 are off on their final 15-minute break of the night, playing three more 40-minute levels before the bag-n-tag and setting the full-15-level standard for tomorrow's Day 1B and also for Saturday's final starting flight.
