Darryl Ronconi was going to be the subject of a player profile, but then he was about to be eliminated. His post-flop 3-bet bluff jam with jack-high was picked off by pocket kings. Then came the runner-runner straight and Ronconi eliminated his opponent to move up just shy of 100K. Ronconi has a runner-up finish for a Circuit Ring and a WSOP bracelet, the latter of which earned him over $510,000 of his $1.4 million in tournament earnings. But even for someone with that kind of success, a little luck never hurt. He's seeking his 3rd HPT Final Table this weekend.
