Sashi Sashays Into Day 2

Ben Ponzio raised from the shotgun to 7,500.  Jamey Kramer called from the button, but then Sashi Bobba jammed 63,800 from the big blind.  Ponzio thought for about 15 seconds before folding.  Kramer took a lot longer.  So long in fact, that the clock was called.  With the countdown under 10 seconds, and after counting out what he'd have left if he lost, Kramer exclaimed, "Well, I've been shorter-stacked than this.  Let's do it."

Kramer was ahead, but slightly, his pocket sevens ahead of Bobba's AKo.  The flop was very benign, but Bobba spiked a king on the turn.  The river 8 was no help.  To Kramer.  Ponzio exclaimed, "I would've got there!" as the pot was pushed to Bobba.  The double-up will very likely keep him around for the weekend as Tournament Supervisor Luis called out for the last 4 hands of the night to be played as Bobba stacked the pot.
