Even the Best of Calls Can Get Punished
There's been a ton of action today, but what just happened between @Willby4 Berry and Greg Collins was up at the top of it all.
Berry opens for 20,000 from the button, only to see Collins put everything he has left - 386,000 (65BB) in the middle, and Berry does not look at all as though he wants to lay down his hand.
Close to two minutes go by, and Berry finds a call, flipping up Pocket_Sevens and getting a groan from Collins.
Collins turns over Pocket_Sixes and not just their table, but players from other tables run over, surprised those are the two hands.
The flop goes K-5-T, Collins says, "nice hand," and starts to leave.
Turn .... J
River ... 6 ....
Collins to 790,000 and the chiplead
Berry to 515,000
3 away from the money.
Level - 19
Antes - 1k
