Nick Davidson Leads Belterra Final Table

Level - 26
Antes - 5,000
Blinds - 20,000/40,000
Entries - 394
Remaining - 9

Three long Day 1 flights and a ten-hour Day 2 trimmed a field of 394 entrants down to a final table of nine players. Sunday's action began with 88 hopefuls, more than half left with a tournament cash and nine remain to play for $86,189, a custom HPT Citizen Eco-Drive watch and a $3,500 HPT Championship package.

Nick Davidson leads the field with 2.56 million and Aaron Johnson is close behind with 2.34 million. The pair spent most of the evening challenging each other for the chip lead. Neal Harding ended just north of 2 million and provided action all day - sending more than his fair share to the rail.

It's a steep drop in chips with Robert Hankins and Jody Maddox with a touch over a million. Hankins is tied for second all-time in WSOP Circuit rings with nine and won four alone in the 2016/2017 season.

Local players George Lusby, Charlie Dawson, Jordan Miller and David Short round out the final table as they look for their first HPT title.

The final table will be live streamed on twitch.tv/hptpoker until they crown a winner. Cards are scheduled to fly at noon with the stream going live on a 30-minute delay.
