Nick Immekus raised all-in blind versus blind against short stack David Costain. Costain made the call for his tournament life and had Immkeus notched 88 vs. 77. Nick got no help from the T4KQ3 board and David got a critical double up.
Five hands later Nick was under the gun and shoved his last 800K into the middle. After getting an exact count, Dave Serkoch called from the big blind. Nick's AKo was behind Dave's 77, but after a Q54 flop, Immekus spiked a King on the turn. Dave didn't get his 2-outer and Nick doubled back up.
The very next hand, the same two players were blind versus blind and this time it was Nick calling Dave's shove for almost the same amount. This time it was Nick out in front, AJ v. KQ. The flop of K-T-A was verrry interesting, but the T-3 runout was no help to Dave who was eliminated in 7th place. Serkoch will take home $12,987.
That's how quick it happens sometimes.
