By the time registration had closed, the fourth flight had added 309 entries to the tournament for a total of 763 entries on the week. That generated a prize pool of $740,110 with Monday's winner set to take home $159,131. The top 81 finishers are guaranteed a mincash of $1,998.
All 143 players that made it through their respective flights will return tomorrow at noon for Day 2 action and play down to the 9-player final table. Those nine come back Monday to play down to a champion under the lights at the nationally televised final table, which will be streamed on a delay with hole cards at twitch.tv/hptpoker.
The overall chip leader, Jay McVeigh, came from Flight D. McVeigh amassed 466,000 chips. His closest competitor, Derrick Montano, advanced from Flight B with 422,000.
Other notables to advance from Flight D include Ben Keeline, Allen Kessler, Ben Mintz, Joseph Christman and Mike Harris.
