BBA KICKS IN

We've reached Level 4 and the big blind ante has kicked in. The BBA format is relatively new in the industry but has taken the world by storm.

Historically, once the ante stage of a tournament is reached, each player posts the ante at the start of every hand. It's pretty common for one player to forget to post or for mistakes to be made while making change for larger denomination chips. In short, antes can slow down play.

Enter Big Blind Ante. With this format, the big blind is responsible for posting antes for the entire table at the start of each hand. Essentially, the player in the big blind double posts.

Players have just entered the 100/300/300 level. The small blind will post 100 and the big blind will post 600. That's 300 for the big blind and 300 for the big blind ante.

Although a small percentage of players have voiced their opposition to the new format, the overwhelming majority of feedback has been positive.

Level: 4 (9:00 remaining)
Blinds: 100/300
BB Ante: 300
Entries: 77
