Ben Brown came into today's final table with 3.62M chips. He chipped his way up to around 5M pretty early in the day.
Then he found himself in a monster of a pot against Chris Tryba. Brown's kings were ahead of Tryba's queens when the two got 10M chips in the middle before the flop.
The board ran clean and Brown won the pot, raking in nearly half the chips in play. He never looked back.
Ben Brown is the newest HPT champion in Black Hawk, Colorado. For his efforts here at Golden Gates Casino, Brown will walk away with $159,131.
The next HPT event is already underway at Ameristar Kansas City. The $1,650 Main Event in Kansas City kicks off this weekend. From there, HPT goes straight to Vicksburg, Mississippi for another full-length series.
