Jay McVeigh is no stranger to HPT events. He has played under the lights of a nationally-televised final table twice, finishing in 2nd and 6th place.
Both of those appearances were in Kansas City. In fact, he has five cashes with the tour on his resume and they all occurred in Kansas City.
HPT happens to have another event going on right now in KC. That series is currently in the prelims with the $1,650 Main Event scheduled for next weekend.
McVeigh isn't concerned with that because he recently made the move to Colorado and he is here late into Day 1D at Golden Gates Casino. Here's the hand we just witnessed:
