Day 2 of the $1,100 HPT Main Event at Golden Gates Casino started with 143 players that were all hoping to play their way to Monday's nationally-televised final table.
The pace of play was fast and furious all day. The top 81 players all made at least $1,998.
Many players made the money but fell short of the final table. Among them were Danny Gonzales, Kane Lai, Allen Kessler and Nils Bardsley.
Craig Casino will be making his 12th appearance under the bright lights of an HPT final table. That is a tour record. This is Casino's 31st cash which is also an HPT record. He'll come into play Monday with 2.78M in chips.
The chip leader at the start of play tomorrow will be Chris Tryba (pictured). Tryba bagged a whopping 4.678M.
Play will begin just after noon Mountain Time tomorrow. Spectators are welcome to sit in on the nationally televised set throughout the day and viewers at home can tune in to watch at twitch.tv/hptpoker.
