@TimBurtPoker made the most of his trip to Vicksburg, going on a multi-level heater after dinner break to bag a 459,000 stack, the high-water mark for all players in today's Day 1B of the @HPTpoker $1,100 Main Event @AmeristarVI.
Gary Eagle was the first player to a 3x stack in the 122-entry field. He rode a roller-coaster for a few hours, then went on an elimination-rampage at the end of the night, piling up a 329,000 stack, just 500 behind Joel Doney for the 2nd stack among the 24 players advancing to Day 2.
The past two HPT Vicksburg champions are going to be looking for a return to the winners circle, as 2016 champ Jay Friedman bagged tonight. Defending champ Freddie Ardoin bagged 156,000 last night as one of 14 players to advance from Day 1A.
Among the players who placed a 30,000 stack in action today but were unable to find a Day2Bag was Michael Monaghan, Jay Bishop, Craig Casino, Dan Lowery, Nick Jivkov, Gary Germann and freeroll qualifier Terrance Currie.
Here's all 24 players from a starting field of 122 moving on to Day 2 starting tomorrow at Noon.
