Apparently, short-stack-ninja is part of his arsenal, for Smith began Day 2 of the Main Event 59/62 with 59,000 - that's 12BB to you and me.
Then again, 12BB compared to his 1/5th of a BB in the satellite could be considered a big stack.
Smith found a double when his Queens cracked the Aces of Nick Pupillo.
Pupillo ended up being the bubble, and one hand later Smith fell A3 < 88 for the first $3,696 cash of the tournament.
