Thursday at @AmeristarVI was a different way to try and make your way in to the @HPTPoker $1,100 Main Event ... a freeroll.
Players received 2,000 chips and could double their stack for $10 in this 100-player-max freeroll where 5 players were going to receive a $260 Main Event Qualifier seat.
Terrence Currie (above) turns that freeroll in to a $260 Qualifier seat and here he is today in Day 1B of the $1,100 Main Event.
Currie, sitting to the right on last year's 8th-place finisher Don Kelly, is at 85,000, one of the top stacks in the room.
