LIMP TO A DOUBLE
I stopped by to check out the limited action at table 11, where I've seen 3-4 players per hand limping in to pots, with few postflop bets, just to see if anything had changed.
Well, you see, what happened was ...
Benny Champlin (pictured) limped FTA (new term here, FTA as First-To-Act, replacing UnderTheGun. It is 2018, we want some new terms), two more players followed suit, the SB completed and the BB checked his action.
The flop came out , the blinds checked to Champlin who made it 1,400 to see a turn card.
Two callers obliged and the dealer peeled off . Champlin adds 2,500 more and only entices one player this time.
River is and in to the pot goes the final 10,000 - two 5k chips of some unknown-color-to-color-blind-me - from Frazier.
"You trapped me," says his challenger, who makes the call, only to see Champlin turn over for a flopped TopTwo that went boat, and well, 'round these parts Boat Don't Lie.
Champlin moves to 32,000.
BB Ante - 400
Blinds - 200/400
Entries - 67
