When play began at the final table, there were several players who were short on chips. Three of those players have hit the rail in the first 10 minutes of play.
James Stucki was the first elimination. Stucki, from Arnold, went out in tenth for $2,846.
Shortly thereafter, St. Louis's William Byrnes hit the rail in ninth. He collected $3,696 for that finish.
Just a moment ago Margie Ferguson knocked out Gary Bland in eighth when the two got all of the chips into the middle with Ferguson's queens up against Bland's Kings. The board delivered in a big way for Ferguson as both remaining queens came out. Bland, from Glen Carbon, Illinois, took home $4,620 for eighth place.
Seven players remain. The next player to get knocked out will earn $5,544.
