COUNTS AT CLOSE OF REGISTRATION

As players take their seats for the start of Level 9, registration is officially closed on the $500 HPT Mini Series Main Event here in Pennsylvania.

The unofficial tally for Flight C is 226, bringing the three-day total field size to a nice round 450 entries. We'll have prize pool numbers to post soon.

As far as we can tell, nobody has cracked the 100k mark yet, but it won't be long before that happens. Jacob Brown is close with his 88,000 and several others aren't fall off.

Past Main Event final tablist Dave Costain (pictured) has tried his luck in each of the three flights but hasn't managed to bag chips yet. He's hoping today is his day. With a current stack of about 20,000 chips, he's got some work to do. Costain finished third here at The Meadows in March or $38,352.
