O'NEILL LOOKING TO ADD POY POINTS
Mike O'Neill captured the @HPTPoker $1100 Main Event @MeadowsCasino in March, earning 110 points in the race for the HPT Player of the Year title. He's one of a large number of players here in Day 1C @Gates_Poker looking for more points with 3 HPT main events left.
O'Neill sits 15th on the leaderboard with this event, Daytona Beach next month and the $2,500 Season Championship at Ameristar East Chicago in November still on the points-race schedule.
Next week, there's a HPT Mini-Series back at Meadows, with a $500 Main Event on the 29th.
Among the players anticipated to be in attendance at the Meadows Mini-Series is last November's HPT Meadows champ Austin Wendling, who finished 4th about an hour ago in the WPT $3,500 Main Event at Borgata in Atlantic City for a $211k cash.
Day 1C Black Hawk players are now on their second 15-minute break of the day. When play resumes, action moves to
Level - 7
BB Ante - 500
Blinds - 300/500
Entries - 148
