BAUMGARTNER BUBBLES TV TABLE
Chris Poole is only going to have 1/2 of a bet remaining on the next hand - once he adds his BB and the BB Ante - so he moves all in preflop UTG. For whatever odd reason, this exceptionally active table of 10 mucks all the way around to Jake Baumgartner in the BB who only has two bets behind him after putting in the BB and BB Ante this hand.
Baumgartner is in as well now, and the hands go up.
6-5 for Poole
5-4 for Baumgartner
Chop, right?
T-6-A-A-2 goes the board and Poole, who did not play a hand at this 10-handed table until that moment, survives, leaving Baumgartner exceptionally short.
Next hand it is an open from Barry Gallaher for 110,000, a 3-bet from Corey Zedo to 350,000, Baumgartner goes all in for his last 80,000, a call of the 350,000 from Daniel Bekavac and Gallaher folds.
The checked-down board goes and it is time to see all three hands.
Bekavac -
Zedo -
Baumgartner -
After almost 90 minutes of 10-handed play, the HPT Daytona Beach final table is established by Queen high winning the last hand.
Baumgartner cashes for $6,807 and moves in to 2nd place in the HPT Player of the Year race with 1 tournament (Season Championship in East Chicago in 2 weeks) remaining. Ossama Estafanous, the current POY leader, has made this final table.
Level - 26
BB Ante - 50k
Blinds - 20k/50k
Remaining - 9/414
