Jermaine 'Lion,' Gerlin took down the @HPTpoker @DBKCandPR Main Event title in 2016, and he's back today looking to become the first-ever two-time HPT Daytona Beach champion.
Gerlin - who defeated former WSOP-APAC Main Event champ Scott Davies heads-up to win the $106,732 first place prize in September 2016 - is among the first group of players seated for Day 1A of the $1,100 HPT Daytona Beach Main Event.
He followed up his HPT win with a MSPT title in 2017, winning at Jacksonville just four months later.
